On my spare AAC controls I read some old and recent posts on cleaning the AAC AKA IAC valve and some mentioned on removing the plunger an spring to better clean the valve.

How is it possible to remove them?

I have removed the motor but I can's seen to remove any more than that, O yea I removed the adjustment screw as well.

I only remove the base idle screw and clean it as much as possible with brake parts cleaner.

Other than the rubber gasket on the Base idle screw and between the little motor and AAC, is there any other rubber on it?

And would it be safe to submerge in brake parts cleaner, so it can soak in it for a little and make it easier to clean?
