Remove them, I never used any seafoam before, I thinks its more of a cutting corners type of deal, which I never do on my priceless cars!24DSXY1 wrote:My idle is high(1500rpm on start and 1000rpm warmed up) and I was told to clean my aac or iacv. Can I just use sea foam to clean them on the motor or do I have to remove them from the motor?
Well if it works this good, I would try it yes!neverlift wrote:really I like seafoam b/c it WORKS. So you would rather remove your intake maifold,or whatever part attatched to it, and then buy gaskets for the pieces you took off, instead of using some seafoam in a vac line. It works good, My 180xxx mile intake manifold were ubber clean. Although the iacv was a bit dirty ,it worked till I removed it.
I haven't tried adjusting the idle screw yet. It's hard to see the idle screw with the abs crap in the way, do you have a picture it?9240sx wrote:Have you tryed adjusting it yet?? On the throttle body or the idle control screw?
