i've done quite some work on this car. which i've done a post for before. had a gigantic vac leak which fixed and replaced the turbo. but i did'nt change any oil lines.
car runs like a dream BUT after its warm the car will blow white smoke from tailpipe when accelarating, which goes away after the revs drop back down.

i've had a good response from the forum hence this issue has to be put on.
compression is all good. i've got a leak from the rocker cover gasket which i think the oil drops on to the exhaust manifold. could that be a prob.

theres no coolant going down or any oil, water mixing ????

please if anyone has some info will surely be helpful i just cant figure it out.

papasmurf????? float????

White is usually coolant but there is what you see and what you dont see from in the car.... Sounds like oil getting into the exhaust via the exhaust seal? Journal bearing, what size feed line?

i've got a feed line on the turbo which is a brass pipe running from the side of the engine to the top of the turbo, it's about 3mm hole from where the oil is fed in by. it got damaged so i had to modify it to make it fit the nut which screws on top ( was'nt a good mod ) but kind of done the job.
i've just got a L shape pipe which is made for the car, that take a bonjo bolt, hope to put that on and see if helps
could you tell me what a exhaust seal is ? dnt have a clue.
Journal bearing?? would that be the bearing in the turbo if it is then cant see that going as its a new turbo. thx

New or old dont matter the turbo seals are to keep boost out, not to keep oil in. Chances are the feed is too big. Do yo know what your oil pressure is in PSi at idle 50% and WOT? I use a -4an feed with a .065 restrictor on my Journal bearing turbo

ok. what i've done is ordered a bonjo bolt to fit the new feed line which i'll put on soon dealers told me they'll get it by sat so i'll pick it up and change the feed line
the line maybe too large and oil is just flowing in too much
i dont know what the oil pressure is but will get to check that and smack on the stats,
i'll try getting a restrictor bolt too to see if it improves cheers

Also make sure your oil return line doesn't dip or have any kinks in it.

Ok been real busy getting the turbo off and working on the car, but all is well.....
put on the new banjo bolt to my new oil feed line on the turbo and sorted out the drain pipe, cause my drain pipe had a uphill area just by the sump  put everything back on the car. i've gt new oil and filter which was a killer to take off looks like it had'nt been touched for years? :tisk:
Then took it for a run...................at first it was the same but blue smoke?!
i guess that was the old oil still in the turbo/exhaust.
but started it up and took it for several runs next day and YES no smoke :woot: JOB DONE.
thanks to ya all
