so i got it all back together last night at 9. finally started it up and set the timing and then drove it to the gast station (~300 yards). on my way back it dumped a whole bunch of oil out the back of the head, at the side right under the #4 exhaust port. "whee" i said. my dad had insisted that i didnt need to mill the head down because it was within spec (3.5 thou out on the head, 2.5-3 out on the block). now im gonna have to yank it out again in a month. luckily i got to steal his car to drive back to school in. anyway, just thought you guys could have a good laugh at my expense. i'll admit it was pretty funny.
my HG is looking a little spent, might need a new one (dee, im looking at you) when i rebuild it (again). im gonna go ahead and have the head ported and polished and the valves re-seated with an angle grind and whatnot. ive had enough of this "not working" crap.
