Freaking Auto Zone can kiss the fattest part of my ***. Apparently the clutch slave cylinders they sell do not come with the clutch line anymore (the last 3 I got did), and when I asked if they carry the line all the employees had no idea what I was talking about. THE RUBBER HOSE THAT GOES FROM THE STEEL LINE ON THE FRAME RAIL TO THE CYLINDER ON THE TRANSMISSION!! No, that didn't make sense. Apparently it did not make sense to the people at carquest or Oreilley's either. GOD!!! I just need a $2 rubber hose so I can drive my car to buy lunch and go to the library at night to study and you know, all types of ill shiit. Now I have to wait for my steel line to come in from Enjuku before I can drive my car again. Thank you Enjuku Racing for not being idiots and carrying stuff I need. Heaven forbid I want to order a part from a DEDICATED AUTO PARTS STORE to fix my shizz, but noooooo, can't do that. The dealership could get it but they wanted like, 15 bucks for it and it was going to take them a week to get it. AAAAHHHHHH!!!!

On top of all that, there are no stores in the Auburn/Opelika area that sell braided stainless steel brake line, so I have found. Not a single helpful person around this damn place. At least the people at Fastenal were nice about it and tried to help me find a place that carried it.

I hate people!! Especially the knuckle-dragging manager at the Auto Zone next to my house. "Here's my application!" "Okay, come back on monday"I go back on Monday and he tells me he didn't get to it, repeat for Wed, Fri, and Sat. "Ok, I will for sure get to it on Sunday, so come in on Monday again" Go in on that Monday and the IDIOT IS ON VACATION FOR TWO WEEKS! Philistines!!!

LOL, sorry to hear that, but you still love it out there in AL, don't you?

Dont worry, you'd be loving AL even more if you had to hunt parts down here in central/south america and then end up having to wait over 1 month after you order them from USA.

I do love Alabama, but will be glad to get back to the good part of Alabama, up top and to the left near the Tennessee and Georgia borders, where people actually work on cars.

if the last 3 came with the rubber line, someone was just being nice to you.

they dont come together.

have you considered going on the website, and getting the part number to bring in, or do the store pickup option?

it would have been quicker then making this thread while waiting for parts to come in the mail from enjuku.

If you were up in Huntsvegas, you could have gone to numerous places for the steel braided lines. If you ever need anything you know they have up here, hit me up and I can at least ship it to you (shouldnt take more than a day to get there)

Yeah, my friend said he would go get me line but he can't make it to Huntsville engine until Saturday. I already ordered the clutch line, but for all my other braided steel line needs I will let you guys know. I appreciate the offer though man!

yeah autoz sucks the big one, i used to work there. 90% of the employees have zero car knowledge, and as far as getting hired they can take up to a month in dumbass background checks before they hire you. They even check your license? even if they aren't hiring you to drive.

most of the time when I cruise into town to oreilly's or auto zone I dont have any problems, there are things that they have no idea about sometimes though... but thats just because they dont know different brands, just the brand they like... or else there is something that they cant get because it isnt a "common failure" anyone else have the little wheels in the window that the cable wraps around break when trying to roll a window up, I figure its gotta be common those things are made out of the worst plastic ever.....

You can use an 83 280zx front brake line and remove the clutch damper box while you're at it. Also it being a brake line, you'll never ever have problems with it.

Nice bit of information there mod, but I already ordered a stainless one from Enjuku. Maybe it will help some of these other cats out.

This is what I did on my S12, but it pretty much applies to S13s too.

It used to sit on the frame rail and I just removed it. Stripped the crap out of the fitting bit it still works so eh.Stock crap I removed and replaced due to leaks. The damper box was fine I think but I just decided to replace it anyway. The line is a bit longer but it won't be a problem. I re-bent my hardline to the stock location so technically I could have reused the original one. If I didn't want to bend anything I would have needed to use the 280zx line and just mount the hardline to the frame rail so nothing moves.
