Hi i was just looking at the G35.

It is a beautiful car. I was wondering about it though. In some magazines i see it says G35/Skyline. What does that mean. Does it have the RB26DETT in it?

Thanks in advance.

The G35 is same as Skyline 350GT "Premium" in Japan. The top of the line Skyline Sedan has the VQ35DE motor and the CVT-8 transmission (known as 350GT-8), while they also have the VQ30DD and the VQ25DD as base model. However the Skyline GT-R is a totally different platform/animal, with the RB26DETT motor.

Here is a URL with different grades of Skylines availible:

Nice explanation JK could not have said it better. It is a SKYLINE in japan, and if you change your badges there is not to much difference.
