Good afternoon. Hoping someone can help me out. As everyone knows, when using the phone (Bluetooth) in the M35/45 there's always issues with the person on the other line hearing you. I have checked this website and I see there is a bulletin. I took my M to Infinifi and they explained to me that I need a new microphone and AV unit. The unit by itself is 3900. Unfortunately I do not have the Infiniti Extended Warranty, my vehicle came with a USAA Extended Warranty (Assurant Solutions). They do not want to cover the repair because they don't cover Voice Recognition systems (VRS). Of course, we (infiniti) know this is not apart of the VRS, and the dealership attempted to explain this to the warranty company. My question is, is there any thing I can do (provide) to convince USAA that they are absolutely wrong??? Please help. I travel in my M and it is absolutely necessary that this feature is functioning properly...THANKS IN ADVANCE

Do the USAA terms and conditions specify what they consider to be voice recognition? Do all your other functions work other than being able to use your phone with your AV unit? Perhaps you can get a standalone Bluetooth speakerphone for your visor as a last resort?
