Go Versa!
How hard is it to just push 1 button locking all doors? I think people are getting more lazier. Not ranting guys, just saying.Andrews Chalmers wrote:

But I am anal about locking the doors anyway - known too many people who almost got carjacked at gas stations/parking lots of the YMCA, etc.
Some people don't lock their doors or care about doing it. But, in a case like this, it saved that persons car and possibly life.mightyversa wrote:

A bit of a stretch don't you think? A: you cant tell what year that v is so you don't know if it had auto locking doors. B: the car wasn't moving when she tried the door so the doors were clearly locked before she got there and we have no way of knowing when they were locked. C: the woman was unarmed and the cop was right there so it is unlikely that any harm would have come to the car or the driver. They Call Me Whatshisname wrote:

A: I was replying to MV's post on why auto-locking could be life-saving. I never said this car had it. I said this is why it exists and why they call it a "safety feature". B: They auto-lock after the car goes over 15 MPH and this car was on a freeway. They don't unlock when you stop.C: Again, I said "in a case like this". I didn't say "That meth addict ran up to the guy with a shotgun thank god it had auto-locking doors".marleyfan wrote:

Auto locking doors can be good but lets not get carried away.

Hight speed pursuits happen all the time all across the country. Ones that happen in LA get more coverage because all of the major networks either have HQs or their second largest establishments here. There are also probably more news choppers here than any other city. Obvious enough?Mile High Versa wrote:Is that a common thing to happen around LA and Socal? Do they have pics of the woman, is she hot?
I wouldn't necesarrily call the OJ chase a "High Speed" pursuit. I don't think they even reached the speed limit in that.feloniousmonk wrote:Also, the OJ Simpson chase (you are probably too young to remember) made high speed pursuits prime-time entertainment. One of the earliest forms of reality tv.
We're talking about AUTO locking doors, not power locks. I don't thing the auto locks were introduced in the V until the 2009 model.mightyversa wrote:There are V's without power locks? Holy crap, where have I been? The dealership where I bought mine had no V's that standard!!
