Gents,

i see from some, that the rb25 ecu isnt tunable. then i hear it is.. then i hear its not, and the cylcle continues.

well my RB25 came with some goodies on it. Goodies include-

Greddy 20G turbo kitGreddy intake manifoldPossibly has cams ( all nissan cams i have seen have a nissan logo. these dont, and they lope at idle)Tuned ecu

may have other stuff, but its on stock fuel injectors, so i doubt it was pushed much more than that.

i was told to take some pics of the ecu, so here you go gents.. anyone have the ability to tune that chip?

i dont want to have to buy AEM just yet for it!

what you boys think?

You might want to talk to carl H to clear things up for you about the capabilities of the 25 ecu.

As for the new toon... I recommend either Dilbert or Stewie...

Yeah, replaces the whole MCU with one that has external memory access. Kinda like the GA16DE ECU, though at least with those you don't need to replace the MCU. lol

Just pull the ROM, and start editing!

Technically, yes the 25 is 'modable' but not financially worth it. Pick up an RB20 or Z32 ECU and a NisTune board and be done with it.

Also, you lucky dog..

are there any stickers anywhere on the cover?

mine looked the same and had a very small black sticker on the inside of the cover that said KS-ROM

after looking it up i found more info on it and they are actually pretty nice

Sorry know this is a bit old but did you ever get a copy of the data out of that EEPROM would be very helpful if you have got a copy.

Cheers tom.
