i just finished my turbo sr build on my 96' SE. and although i can claim my addiction to boost, for my 96 non SE. i cant help but wonder..these honda guys are mating the K20-A's head with the k24's block and making over 300whp all motor..no nitrous.v-tec this and that, WHY ARNT WE PUSHING THE ENVELOPE?!?! regardless of the fact that our ka's are atleast 10 years older then the K's we have the same displacement as the hybrid.and although we dont have vvt we should still be damn close with a completely reworked engine.i think that with a lightened crank, (very) high compression pistons, aggressive cams, maybe ITB's and a standalone ecu... we should be around 270whp...

anyways as bad as i want to build this i much rather rebuild my t28 off my SR, and build a 10:0:1 compression low boost monster.im thinking 280-320whp... without the slightest hint of lag.

Buddy just did a full NA build on his DOHC:Cams/ITB's/hi compression/etc and put down 205rwhp, which is VERY good. the motors just dont have the ability to put down that kind of power NA without dropping ridiculous amounts of money/time into them.

205rwhp n/a KA? That's pretty awesome, you should get more specs and some pics of that car I would like to see how he achieved that .
