Bob Keeshan passed away earlier today, figured he deserved more than this, but what can I do.

Not only was he a beloved children's entertainer, he was also a Marine in WWII, though only a reservist at the end of the war, but still.

How long has he been on TV? I think I remember him from back in the day. Sad to see another one go...

I grew up on Captain Kangaroo. Great show - SO much better than that damn Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. (RIP Fred Rogers)

When they dropped the load of ping-pong balls on everyone (once per episode), it was always funny - even when it had been done a thousand times. :)
