Just a note of thanks to all of you who helped a newbie with his Q45 :-)

With your assistance we have done: Fuel Pump, FPCM, gone under the plenum & done the injectors, fuel regulators, one ignitor, knock sensors, O2 sensors and fuel lines. Last but not least was the MAF.

The Q45 purrs now. Kinda scary with all that HP <grin> (and the price of gas!)

As you have learned, restoration shows what a remarkable car this is, even by current standards. Even by buld quality and engineering design, I am not sure anything surpasses it this day unless it is a limited production exotic.

I second that remark. I haven't done anything about restoring my 97 Q45, but I can tell you that un-restored, it drives better, is quieter, and I think looks better than anything on the road, regardless of age, and I have owned BMW's, Mercedes, Volvo, and Lexus. The Q beats them all.

I third that 'smalcom'. My unrestored 94 Q45 looks pretty good with its rims and the spoiler that I get all the new piece of **** cars (BMWs, Mercedes Benzes, etc...) and the young rich dudes reving around me and messing with me because my car looks so nice and agreesive though being 14 years old, it still gives them a scare. I try not to mess with them a lot as I have unfinished business under the plenum so I wanna keep my cool and the Qs respect and reputation until I'm done. Then I'll be talking
