Just wanted to post my trip I made in the 240. Trip was actually great and nicer than the drives I've made to New York in the car. The Sceneryis better in my opinion. The car did great through the desert with ambient temps of 120+ & the entire trip. I tell you the truth when I say I never had to pop the hood even once EXCEPT when I had to check my oil level. I saw lots of new model cars and 18wheelers pulled over from trying to drive up the mountains, they where over heating. Thank goodness for a water temp gauge. I averaged about 214* with the A/C running and maintaining a speed of 85mph. When going up the largest mountain (9K elevation) water temps creeped up to 226* then I slowed down to 60 mph and the temps started going back down. The grand canyon is something every person should see. Trust me, the pictures do it no justice. Its one big *** hole. The meteor crater was nice to see as well. I recommend anyone who hasn't ever seen it in person to make the trip but make sure whatever you drive is in great condition. That desert is no joke!!! While in LA I ran a couple of Ferrari’s, 2 Subaru’s, & a 600 bike on 405( I believe it was). It was fun pissing off the Ferrari owners. The WRX's must have had nothing more than a big FMIC because they were slow as hell. The 600 was just shocked as hell but it was all good. I also stopped by and met Jim Wolf and his crew in person. That was nice and got to see some his new projects. After leaving his shop I got back to Dallas in just short of 16hrs. (Yes I was fly'n) Drove straight through the night. Here are a few pics from the trip. Check out the link to the slide show at the bottom.

Picture I took of the car next to my hotel I stayed at, Westin of Costa Mesa

Wow, Duron... I've heard your name around for years but never knew you had a shop around here! If there's anyone who can answer the questions I have about going KA-T and help with my future project, it's gotta be you!

Hopefully, I'll be calling / bringing ya some business soon!

Congrats on having a daily driver making redonkulous pwr/trq and still be capable of driving thru the hottest states in the country during the hottest time of year! Now thats what I call a publicity stunt!

NO! I was acutally very suprised myself. He doesn't look any older than mid to late 40's. If he's in his 50's he ages very well but he just started having gray hairs on his head. Jim and Ben are acutally cool guys and they get alot done out of a small place.

definitely what I was thinking. I don't know if I'm just not seeing it but did you say how many miles you traversed?

Props to jimwolf and his crew, they make some good stuff..I have a turbo ecu from them and it's probably that one thing that's saving my engine from going ka-boom.
