So the other day I was in Japantown San Jose taking pictures of my coupe when I decided that I'm going to travel up and down California to photograph the remaining 3 Japantowns/Little Tokyo in all of the United States. As someone of Japanese heritage, there's significant cultural value in these places, so I want to document what remains before they fade away due to a struggling economy. Anyways, onto pictures of the coupe, since I know that's what most of you are here for anywho :yesnod

And to answer a couple questions, I have the Stillen Front Lip/Rockers, Tanabe Medallion, and 20x8.5 +42 Motegi MR107 with 245/35

The closest thing oriental to me is Chinatowne in Washington DC. These look a whole lot prettier than that. lol

I've been to Chinatown, DC. Not a bad place, though it's not quite as scenic. With a little bit of photoshop magic though it could look great in it's own right!

For sure man. And not even really photoshop. If you get some good angles and play with the lighting you could probably make it look fun and exciting. The city can never really recreate tranquility... I mean hell, it's a city. Let alone DC. The lens will make the story while the city lives up to whatever it may be.

I like Chinatown in Boston the best. Haven't ever been to a Japantown, but I have been to K-Town in NYC, and it doesn't have much of a different feel from the rest of NYC. Flushing, NY is a nice little mess of Asian heritage, too. All kinds sort of clumped together.

1 curves filter, 1 hue/saturation filter, 1 gradient overlay to smooth it all out.
i'm somewhat of a minimalist when it comes to using photoshop to modify pics.

although in the picture of the garden, i had to photoshop out a construction cone :chuckle:

Minimalist is best; that's how I was taught. You take a ton of pictures, make minor touch-ups to all of them, and only show the best ones.

Very nice! Looks like you have a great setup for vehicle height and your 20s. I'm usually not a fan of 20s but the side shot makes them pop very nicely. Nice work!
