A/T Transmission problem.

Hey, i have a A/T 1995 240sx that has a problem right now. I was driving through the rain and through a flooded main road. i went to accelerate and noticed my transmission was stuck in 3rd gear and doesnt shift outta it. ive had this problem before but didnt involve water. i usually just shut off the car, start it back up and its fine. i tried that a couple times with this case and still stuckin 3rd gear. i was wondering maybe i got water in my TPS or seed sensor? I read another post on how to A/T self diagnostics, but this was on a 1992 240sx. i tired it but it didnt read me back any codes.

haha i waited like 3 hours to let everything dry and car is shifting perfect... wow guess im lucky?

Be prepared for slushbox failure. I say change the fluid and see if there is any metal sludge in there... if there is, get ready to do a 5 speed conversion.
