Can someone tell me how the shifter is linked to the trans on a 92q? I am swapping the engine and trans to my truck and would like to mount the shifter on the dash "rally style" and was just wondering if it was cable or linkage. thanx

Linkage... with 1st gear controlled exclusively by electronics through the TCU.
