96 Q45:Does anyone have a real picture of the pin-outs for the A/T Control Unit? The diagram on AT-36 just doesn't seem to match, and being too old and fat, the prospects of digging further into the wire bundles or removing the unit seem a daunting task.I'm just trying to follow Dennis' suggestion to take a reading across the torque converter clutch solenoid valve.Thanks.

My guess is you're going to be looking at torque converter/transmission replacement...

For the pinout, check the FOLDOUT section of the FSM..

AT-39 is a pretty good diagram. Output comes from pin #5 and is GY/R (Gray/Red). The color changes to L (blue) after passing through connector M209. To check take a resistance reading across the valve you will need to disconnect the harness from the A/T control unit (TCU) anyway so you'll need to dive in and get to the control unit to do this. If you can find M209 connector you could unplug it there.
