A/t Control Question!!!can It Manipulate??

Is there a way to manipulate the gears or shift in my automatic transmission ?? ..... i know that my car have an control that manipulate my transmission.... something like an a/t controller ......

i want to manipulate my transmission manualli ,but i dont have the fsm to view the wires on the controller!!!.... can someone help me?....is posibble to do something like an f1 shifter? or remove the a/t controller and put some switch to up gear and other to down gear....!!=) im only want to learn more!!! iwant to experiment with my "240sx 90"
