I didn't see this coming at all.

Some d!ck traffic cop is going to pull someone over for the "tint" being too dark on their fake rear side glass.

I was REALLY REALLY excited until I saw that it's retractable. I wish it was just a fixed roof coupe. Lighter, more rigid structure. I still think this is utterly fantastic, and I love the use of buttresses to avoid the awkward proportioning and weird c-pillar that the NC folding hardtop had. But, honestly, if I had a Miata coupe I'd be too busy smiling to worry about dropping the top.

Nice idea, and not bad looking, but the blind spot with the top up might be a problem.

Love it.

I like it.

Interesting 2 seat alternative to the FRS/BRZ now.

I really really really dig the new Miata. This thing was a big surprise to me too, however I have to agree with the argument of just having a fixed roof for weight/rigidity. I always liked that option on the Vette.

The roof in the vette is a bit awkward to remove and install with just 1 person without contacting the paint surface on the roof (which leads to fingerprints, scratches, big goofy green hand prints during pollen season, etc).

Nothing is as easy as dropping the top in Miatai. I'm pretty sure I was spoiled by the ease of dropping the top in that car.

It does allow me a second chance to own a Pontiac Solstice.

Yea, the shot from the back totally made me thing Solstice/Sky. Not that I mind though, as I always like the Saturn Sky's aesthetics. I need to go sit in one. I'm still probably too big. And before Greg comes in here again and tells me he fits in his just fine and he's taller, IDGAF. My wife has had two NA's and I hated sitting in both of them. My knees hit everything and my hands hit my knees every time I turn the wheel. Admittedly, I'm sure a lot has changed since the NA, but they're still really small cars.

I always sort of hid my desire for one, like my enjoyment of pop music. It just looks like a fun little car to run around in. The Roadster is sex. I sat in one a few weeks ago and, truly, if they had got it to market a year earlier, I'm not sure if there wouldn't be a blood red one parked where my BRZ is now.

NA and ND have pretty similar interior dimensions, which I prefer. My NC is comfy on road trips but feels less like a four-wheeled motorcycle, more like a commuter car.

I always like the NB until I sat in one. How the hell did they manage to make a wider car smaller inside? My elbow was halfway into the door. I was sad.
