OK So i did a 5 spd swap on the new 240sx now the TPS is set at 35 degrees and my coolant temp sensor is bad. I will replace it but where should this TPS be at cause it runs like weak sauce. i think 44 degrees but not 100% on that

I'm gonna thread jack again. Where did you get that skin for Vista? I know that is DEFINITELY not XP. Too shiny.

s***. I want my Vista to somewhat resemble XP. I used to have an XP computer and I had a skin and everything was freaking perfect...until it broke...and I got a Vista laptop for Christmas. Hopefully I can fix the XP laptop. Then I'll build a solid gaming computer.

yes sorry i had hooked it up to the blatz diganostic it was reading 9 volts off then.

and yes it studders in the low RPM and runs Richbut that could also mean that the coolant temp sensor is the cause of that

you should have 12 volts at the tps, if not then replace it. also get an ohm meter and a screwdriver to check the resistance in it.

You should have 12 volts goin to the tps (throttle position sensor) and an x amount coming out. x is the amount of resistance being put through the tps. at one terminal it should read 12 volts (input side of the sensor) and any where from 7-12 volts on the other terminal (resistance). Also you can check what the resistance of the tps is and whether or not it is within specs.
