I cant say i see ANYTHING wrong with this idea. Its about time we started expecting parents to treat schools like the institutions they were designed for, not daycare. this is one way to start.

First....wow you posted a Fox News story hehe

Secondly, I like the idea. Here in my area if your kids dont have lunch money, the get a PB sammich and a milk. But then I dont know what happens as far as reporting or whatnot regarding DCFS or whatever. But Ill say this, once or twice maybe, but parents that consistently dont supply lunch money for their kids are most likely already in the DCFS system.
