Post

Hi everyone. Since last friday I'm getting a squeeking sound coming from the front driver wheel like a "bushing" blew out or something only when going over bumps or cracks. My 2014 sv awd Rogue has 9000kms on it and I have a feeling the dealer will tell me that its "wear and tear". I'm still bringing it in for the squeeky sunroof and now this. I also want them to check the backseat which seems to shake a lot when no one is using it. Finally I also want them to tell me what the "knocking" noise coming from the motor or transmission is exactly. It gets louder when I press on a button lets say to open the windows or move the seat around. Almost like if theres not enough power to use these things and the motor has to force it out. Oh one last thing, has anyone noticed a jerking feeling when really getting on the gas pedal. I seem to really feel it at about 3000rpms and close to 5000rpms...almost feels like the car is choking. I will keep you guys posted but please share if any of this applies to you too.

Can't say that I have experienced anything except for the stereo in the SV (namely the headunit and bluetooth) being complete garbage.

If you go to the dealer, do your best to not overwhelm with a laundry list of items - they won't take you seriously.

The jerking feeling is symptomatic of transmission failure - I have felt this in a couple different CVT Nissans, most recently a 2013 Pathfinder. This may pair up with the bushing(?) issue you're referring to at the beginning of your post.

Your first priority is to get the driving issues ironed out, and it sounds to me that it's all pointing toward the transmission - the stumbling under load, the noises over bumps, and the knocking sounds. Good luck.
