Anyone hear of these guys? http://www.a-spectuning.comThey have a turbo kit for sale, they don't name a price though. Haven't had a response to email. They're located outside of Chicago, someone should take a peek at what they have..

I called them and they told me there is no set price, cause they dont actually make a kit to sell via mail. They just offer the service i.e. if you bring your car in they'll make a manifold for a gt series turbo and sell you the turbo too. Unless the guy I talked didint know what he was talking about.

Do you guys think the flange is thick enough on that?

Looks beefy as hell and keeps the turbo close to the flange to keep the moment small compared to the SSautochrome manifolds where the turbo flange is out further.

Someone should have one made in their car and then have A-spec make about 25 more because they would sell them all in about 2 days if the price was right.

Also, is there a wastegate flange on the bottom across from the turbo exhaust inlet? I can't really tell...

Hmm Schaumburg.. thats only 3 hrs away.. Sombody needs to go up there and have one fabbed! I know the pieces are not 'custom', when they get an order, it goes something like this "Hey Joe, grab that jig for an RB25 mani and get ready to run the program for it." We do the same here, but for aerospace parts. Reguardless it looks like a pretty nice piece. I am going to bet it is in the 'over $550' range. Why? Because people _will_ pay it. (sorry, I'm a cynic at times..) It looks sweet and so does their new shop.

The kit looks pretty sweet and appears to be high quality. Judging from the website the operation looks to be quite experienced and legit. I'm guessing the retail price for one of their kits using a GT30 or GT35r would be in the neighborhood of $2200-$2500 if it includes the turbo, manifold, and wastegate. Someone should check them out in person. I loved the pic of the RB25 swapped 300zx, btw

I can understand them needing the car to install the whole kit but they shouldn't need one if you only want the manifold.

I would snap that manifold up if it was ~$800.

Looks expensive beause of the design and I can't tell but it looks like they made a merged collector on it. Did they say what it's made out of?

I know it has been a long time since anyone has posted on this tread but the picture on the website was my car. I used to work for them awhile ago. It was a 1/2" or 3/4" flange with stainless piping that i welded together. They didnt make a kit of it because not every body uses the same engine mounts and it would have been close to the steering. I had it high temp coated through jet hot or something like that. The car made 479hp at 13psi. it was a GT35R with a 1.06 exhaust housing. Some guy in marango,il bought it from me a few years ago and it actually selling it real cheap.
