Time to time, when I start the car or drive, I see a small puff of thin white smoke coming out of engine hood. I see some oil leaks and stain on the portion of the engine head that meets the block.Could this be engine oil leaking and burning. This began to happen recently.

if the oil is dripping onto the exhaust manifold, it is very possible that it is oil, try to find out were the smoke is coming from, then follow that to its source.
