All right, I first want to start by saying, I searched. A lot. I understand how to do your own alignment if you have certain tools or a frame of reference assuming something on your car is correct.

What I can not find though is how do you do an alignment when you have nothing to reference? When you know nothing in your current suspension is not correct?

My rear shocks are shot and the rear end alignment is off and I am replacing the stock suspension with aftermarket. I have adjustable RUCA and toe rods out back and Fortune Auto 500 coilovers. Since I am replacing all of thsee components all of my alignment settings are going to be completely shot and I won't have anything to reference for a string alignment or any other backyard mechanic tricks. So what is the best way to get the car "close enough" so that the alignment shop won't have as much to do and it may be slightly more effective?
