ok ive searched and searched on multiple forums and ive found hints to this question, so please dont flame . This was the thread i wish had pics and more info but it died after like 6 post zerothread?id=380875

I was wondering if you could just put the s14 kouki head lights and hood on a 95 s14 and leave the zenki fenders, bumpers and blinker lamps? If anyone has done this pics would be GREATLY appreciated and would the hood line up with the fender or would it be at a lower line (look sunk in)? I could swear ive seen a pic of a car like this on ebay and i wish i would have saved it. Thank you for your time and patience with the newbie ^_^

found a picture of a 97 240sx with the kouki front end but with what looks like a zenki hood on it, so if that fits, it should be ok to assume that it would work backwards and that a kouki hood should fit against a pair of zenki fenders

The fenders wont work because the corner lights are different shaped. I guess you could hack up the zenkie fenders but it would look bad.

I have seen what you speak of done many times, it can be done. Don't know how much fab work needs to be done if any but you need the kouki hood and headlights but keep everything else zenki

Yuck, yuck and more yuck.

Why would you cheap out and go half way? Either do the whole thing or don't do it at all.

Look at my build bellow I am using my zenki bumper on my kouki conversion for a temp cone diflection device.

the fenders and corner lights. i think there will be a gap and some cutting needing to be done but they will fit if you use some tin snips to make them. there will be a little gap with kouki corner lights in a zenki fender. I think it is possible mine were messed up beyond repair so i tossed them out. it's costly either way i spend 1000$ on fenders, hood and headlights.

as far as the hood, i never had a zenki one in the first place to see it i could make do.

and that white pictured white kouki with the funny hood i think that has something to do with that he has and LS1 in that best and my guess is thats for venting and flow into that cone filter/ throttle body that right of the front of the block.

What ever that's just your opinion. I think it would look decent if you take your time. and as far as the blinker lights i know i took mine, cut the wires and spliced them into my new head lights, they blink hella fast but i know thats how other guys did it.

Sorry bro, thats an S14 zenki hood. They used carbon fiber or something to cover up the curve towards the tip of the hood by the headlights. Just look a little closer.

thanks for the input guys i appreciate it, im not trying to cheap out and do only half i just think that it would look different and thats what im after. I deff see the carbon fiber hood lip now though, i didnt see it before. I think im going to get the hood and headlights and try a fitment, if it dont ill just have to get the rest of it. I did see an interesting pic and im not sure the fitment on it it looks like a zenki hood but the lights look curved like the kouki, but they are not projecters like the kouki either. Ive stared at this photo forever and cant figure it out, other than photo shop lol

not all kouki head lights are projectors, oem ones sure but on a s13.5 conversion mostly are just some knock off kouki lights, as for the photoshop, im with you, looks real then looks fake, all i have is paint on my pc so i cant tell :D

if it is real (im leaning towards fake sadly) it does look cool and certainly unique. prove me wrong and find more legit pics of this car then in be all 110% for it.

I HATE quoting pictures... anywho Bik owns that car.Hella cool dude in mexico

He welded that lip on to that hood and blended it in.

He didn't buy it that way.

That's a zenki front on a s13 with custom eyebrows.

ummm i did my kouki conversion and that right there is not a zenki hood. it is a kouki hood with a painted front. the zenki hood waaaaaaaaaaaaaay shorter.

my friend is running a kouki hood and lights and then we had to pull the zenki fenders out and make new mounting spots.it doesnt look half bad, its kinda ghetto. but it works. he doesnt have a front bumper so i dont know how that fits.

looks more like a white aftermarket jdm s13 hood. look at the top of his headlights. if it was a kouki hood u wouldnt see them.
