well, I'm not getting a 240 for a while now. I could not find one in time that was worth anything that wasn't way overpriced. in my area there are guys asking almost $5k over book for a stock car! I had to put the money towards a NEW car for my wife. we had a deal that if I couldn't find one in time then she got a new car, which is fair. I already have a new car and didn't want to have two cars and she only have one used. anyways, thanks everyone for all your help and advice! it helped me to shape my knowledge for such a great car. hopefully I can find one in the future when the bandwagoning has calmed down and all the teens move on to another car. thanks again. Greg.

palmer: thanks, I looked through there but couldn't seem to find what I was looking for. a '92-94 coupe in decent shape for $2-$3k only musts are electrical and frame have to be straight. no major wrecks. but couldn't find.

checker: some day you'll know and also I already just bought a brand new car so its only fair wife or not she gets a new one before I have two cars new and project. she does contribute half the income.thanks all.

yeap, the price on 240sx are getting inflated, id try ebay. a stock coupe in good shape shouldnt run more then 3Gs at the most, espically since most ppl are out for the slowback, i mean hatchback... kidding guys... lol, if you seriously want to go cheap go for a pignose, hey they r th3 s3xy!... also cheaper do to the fact that most ppl who are looking to do an SR swap dont want to have to swap AC and PS lines so they tend to stay away from the older one. besides its basically the same unless ur trying to make mad crazy HP...then you should def go for the dohc..

Thanks Coma, I don't mind the pignose, but I want to go KA-t so I'd like not to have to swap the de in. it's not that I mind swapping but if I have an engine outside a car I'm gonna want to build it up and spend more money than I want on it. but that's what I may have to do.
