All,

I have trouble locating a Versa in North California that has these options:SL hatchback, CVTWhite exteriorCharcoal interiorConvinience packageABS package

Everytime I am able to locate one, it is usually fully loaded with many extra options and I am too cheap to pay for these options that I don't really care.

Any one in the forum with the exact car that I am lookign for? May be Nissan just don't built them?

Thanks.

You can configure it... but only if you leave the splash guards on it...

otherwise it wants to option it out...

Just got my wife one with that config, except hers is sapphire blue. Yes, they make them.

The dealer had to trade with another dealer about 120 miles away to get it.

White with the dark interior may be the hard part, most will want the light color interior with white ext. You could always see about custom ordering and waiting a while.

Biggie's got a point... Ordering and waiting would be the best option if you don't mind the waiting part... Are the area dealerships willing to look/trade for you?

Thanks for all your inputs.

Dealership did help to locate cars for me with these options but all they could find were with additional options. Biggie is right, the white/charcoal combination is tough.

I guess custom order is the only way to go. The dealership I went to is OK with the idea but they keep trying to sell me cars on their lot...

When I bought mine there were very few Versas around. I thought I wanted the light interior to keep it cooler, but then I saw an S model with that combination while I was waiting for them to bring my new white/charcoal SL in from a dealer about 200 miles away. Not only did I decide I like this combination better, but it turns out doesn't even get too hot in the sun. (Of course, my last car was dark green, so this one's much cooler in the sun, anyway!)

THe dealership here had a white S with a black interior and the black SL I got has a tan interior. Doesn't seem that uncommon.

I have a Versa with these options. It took the dealer a while to find one for me but it was worth the wait.

The biggest problem was finding a car with ABS. The dealer told me at the time that only 10% of Versas were equipped with ABS. I don't know if that was true or not but it was hard to find.

That's funny. When I was buying my V there was only 1 on the lot with ABS. I was going for a beautiful black SL.. but it had everything except ABS. I didn't realize it was only about 10%. I could have shopped around, but my Jeep's transmission was dead.

In the end, I got my Magnetic Grey S with ABS and the spoiler. Ha ha.. why is it that whenever I see a V around here(CA bay area), which is quite often, they never have the spoiler?

I haven't seen many Versa's around here. Mostly the Sentra and Altima are driving around, a good thing I guess. All the Versas I've passed by are usually the base S model, haven't seen any SL's or ones with the spoiler in the back. They are too new at the moment...

it took about 8-9 weeks for me to get my V with the specs i wanted. i told the sales guy what i wanted (SL hatch, magnetic grey, CVT, convenience pkg, sport pkg), and he had it ordered for me. their dealership had nice stuff on the lot, but nothing with the sport pkg. as it is, to this day i've only seen one other Sport equipped V on the road and 2 Vs with the spoiler as an option. if they want the sale bad enough, the dealer will find a V with the specs you want.

Locally there's no sport packages, and all the convenience packaged ones have spoilers. Although on the road, I've yet to see any spoilers so I guess not many people are buying convenience package.
