Not a daily driver. Mostly a weekend fun car, and I plan on taking it to the track. It's mostly a fun car. Since I already did a SR swap I don't like driving it too much in the rain/snow. It's fun, but well, I'm going to get into trouble if it's my daily driver.gumby74 wrote:Will this be a daily/street car or a track slut? You might want to consider new bushings for the rear hubs. I found p#7.3115 for energy susp. for the s13.

Right now I'm looking at getting:

These will all be Megan and ordered at the same time (tomorrow after work). Is there anything else that I might be missing for this build? Or is there anything that is excessive?
Thanks
Well, I decided to go the megan route because not only does it have a 1 year warranty through them, but the shop/guy I'm going through has his own warranty on it too.Loveless wrote:you really don't need all that stuff
personally I think all you need is the coil overs, ruca and the front tension rods
915 + 650 right? that is 1565
stance coilovers 1200 + spl tension rods will run you between 350 I believe
I'm working on finishing my suspension too so I'm with you on that point. Our cars are 13+ years old and have suspension parts with many many miles on them and whether their still in fair to good condition or not...I still wanted to replace them all whether it was with OEM or name brand aftermarket parts. From my front to my rear suspension I have OEM, Megan Racing and Nismo. I just wanted to retire those old pieces and get some fresh parts. Good luck and post pics.plainzwalker wrote:

Besides, I'm almost 100% that all the suspension parts on the car (minus the current coils/struts) have about 200k miles on them. Does it hurt to replace them? When I get in this car, I like to drive it hard. It's not a daily driver, and there are days where I don't even start it up.
