Well I figured I should introduce myself to you all being as I just registered. My name's Mike from Camarillo, CA. I'm 28 and my wife and I just bought a 2003 champaign colored G35 coupe from the Thousand Oaks Inifinty dealership. I've lusted after this car for more than a year and couldn't have done it without her (she had really good credit not to mention money saved up we used for the down ) We have a little one on the way and my 240Z just wouldn't have the room needed so I knew I wanted a 4 seater that handled and this fit the bill. Just picked this beauty up on this past Sunday the 25th of June

P.S. The sig pics are thumbnails to larger images if you guys want to see it better. If you happen to notice the blemishes on the bumpers that's getting fixed on the dealership's tab probably this week or at least when I call for an appointment. Anyway cheers to all!

Before anybody else catches it I spelled "Champagne" wrong...oops...and now I can't fix it in my username..oh well. I'm blaming it on google which I always faithfully used as a spell checker...well I guess there's 3 different ways to spell it but they're all different meanings...who knew ?

Welcome! Congratulations to you on your upcoming little one. I have a coupe as well and it nicely fits two car seats as well as a stroller in the trunk so you're set!

Good to know that's comming from a woman. Gives me hope my wife might actually feel the same way once we get to that point . I'm assuming you have 2 little ones or did you simply install 2 car seats to make it easier for either side ? Just curious.

I have 2 kiddos - one is 4 and one is 2. Its super easy to get them both in and out of the car - everyone just comes through the driver's side door. It might be a bit interesting once your child moves from the little infant seats (I call it a bucket) to a rear-facing car seat but once the kiddo is facing forward it will be nice and easy.

What I would do, and this is just based on my experience with the coupe and car seats, is once the child is in the rear facing seat that isn't the little bucket take the child out from the opposite side. So if the baby is behind the passenger seat then crawl into the back seat on the driver's side and take the wee one out. Does that make sense? I know this is getting wordy but I just wanted to offer my 'expertise' on the topic. LOL

Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions.
