first question (taken from a quote from you on an older post)

"I cannot even reach top speed in my car. The front end starts to lift at about 170mph and I usually let out."

thats funny cause enthalpy can do over 180 with no problems

second question:

why is it you have a whole crap load of pics of your engine bay, engine, wiring, etc, but ive seen no pictures of a transmission or driveshaft. just curious during what part of the install the camera died.

and videos??

you know for a fact that enthalpy can do over 180? i thought on fa they calculated it out that he could in theory but never has! oh and they also drive different cars! one is set for drag and enthalpys is prob for highspeed! think its a tad distastefull for you to come on this board and insult one of its pillars! BOOOOOOOOO:mad:

He's just wondering the validity of the car of whether or not it actually runs. A friend of his already has the same engine in a car and they are finishing it now, and it will have video and picture documentation of it running, etc.

btw, scott's car went 186 mph at 7850 rpm in 5th gear , datalogged on haltech.

1, you're new here so I'll try and be nice (not good at that usually) my car has been up and running since early January. It has been through 2 TH350's and 2 TH700R4's. It has also destroyed 1 driveshaft which was replaced by a custom CF driveshaft. My car has been in 3 shows (driven to them mind you) here in Houston in the last month. Jspek.com's JDM show, Hot Import Nights, and Texas Showdown.

2, I can't get to my top speed because the front starts to lift. My car IS NOT LOWERED. I DO NOT have anything putting me closer to the ground than a stock 240. Don't believe me, let's go for a ride and see when you wet yourself. About 165 the steering begins to flake in and out. At 170 the bumps in the road are hit so fast that the front end stops coming back down, and floats at max suspension. Faster than that I don't know because I'm not willing to push it there other than on the track. Houston roads are terrible. They need patches and leveling everywhere. Go on one of the supra forums and ask them what Houston roads are like when they come in to do top speed runs. Very few of them will tell you that they are willing to do it over 150 here because of the roads.

If you doubt my car running, I'll set out whatever piece of s*** you've got built 10 lengths for $10,000. Now, either step up, or shut up.

Not only do I not think the 240ss is real...I dont think Aries is...he's a giant red clown with blue hair masquerading as a car enthusiast, of this I am certain.

Obviously the car is real.Obviously it drove in to HIN in front of 300+ people. It's 45 miles from my place to the Reliant Center where the event was held, so obviously it's got title, registration, and inspection...

Any other doubters?

I think he's the owner of LCM, which would make the whole car a write off, and I'm sure back when it was just KA24DE powered with enough nitrous to blow himself to the moon he made a dime or two blowing away mustangs.....lol.....all the pieces of the puzzle fit together, Chris is a baller, his car is bad arse, I've seen a video of it running, but it must have been right after the swap because it didn't do too well in that race.......but if what he says is true......well, the mods he says he's done, it must be one hell of a machine...

whoa. I think this one had a bad start. garagebattle you should probably be a bit more careful when posting comments like that, although your post was innocent, It seemed that you were questioning his car, which is a big no no. you have to remember that we're on the internet, and there are no tones of voice here. something completely innocent can be taken as sarcasm.

by the way Aries, I'd love to see some videos as well, your car is sweet.

i dont think that anybody should be upset about questioning his car... especially Aries... i mean he did the mod! he had to have known people wouldnt believe it.

personally i believe him and his car ..but that is a HUGE mod to that car

I dont see a problem with questioning it if you dont believe it ...

just my $.02

Umm... HELLO! :rolleyes

I've ridden in the SS POS (it's new nickname, kinda like the SS Minnow :D ) several times now and it even made it to Austin, well it overheated once cause the motor was full of crappy coolant and the fan switch wiring decided to not work sitting in Austin traffic :D

Kinda hard for him to get video of it running 10's, when in its current state its not safe to run 11.9 or lower...

Unless he installed a full legal cage since the least time I "read" about it, hes still not legal, and not alowed to run IIRC untill that happens.

There are rules.... which Im sure he'll be ready for for that little showdown or whatever (hey I comprehend and absorb the important stuff and the details, kinda the opposite of others :) )...
