A question for anyone who did the door pillar mod...

Ever since doing the mod my "fasten seatbelt" light stays lit all the time. It's starting to bug me. Can anyone tell me what i have to do to get rid of it. I'm sure it must involve the harness under the seat but that's about it. Do I run one of the wires to ground? Do I jump one of the wires to one of the other wires? I don't have a clue. Please help me out. Thanks

Unplug it where? It is unplugged. That's the problem. Because I moved my rear belts to the front there's no longer anything to plug the harness into. That's why they stay on, isn't it?

Someone once mentioned a "hobby jumper" from Radio Shack that you can jam into the car's connector to disable the light... no idea what the RS part # is though.

Did you need to move the rear seat belt receptacles to the front? I latched my rear belt into the front receptacle and it seemed to work just fine... With that setup, you would be able to keep the sensor in place.
