HELLO EVERYONE, I HAVE A 1999 INFINITI I30 AND I WANT TO KNOW IF AN INJEN COLD AIR INTAKE FOR A 1999 NISSAN MAXIMA WILL WORK? I THINK THEY ARE THE SAME ENGINES. MECHANICS OR ANYONE WHO HAS DONE THIS BEFORE PLEASE RESPOND. I NEED PROFFESIONAL ADVICE.

Yes it should. The fenders, hood and grille are different, but under the hood it should be exactly the same.

Yes, the Maxima and I30 performance parts are interchangable.

Please, in the future, disengage your caps lock key. Makes your typing harder to read.

thank you everyone. so the sensors and throttle diameter are the same?? anyone ever done it before? suggestions anyone?

With how the Injen installs, I doubt there is any difference. IMO, Injen is mostly for looks.

The problem I have with the Injen is that its hp increases are at the low-end of the powerband. The low-end is where I don't need it since I can't get it to hookup in the first place due to FWD + torque. Now, on a I30/4th gen, that may be somewhat different.

lol, this may be a dumb question; but what is low-end power and high-end power? my car is not for racing i just wanna have a real good air filter to last me a while and look good. i just make sure my car is tops.
