The brake pedal feel changes in relation to ebrake tightness. When e brake is tight, brake pedal needs more pressure to work. When ebrake is loose, brake pedal works nornal or close to normal. Any one know why this is happening?

Locking up doesn't happen.

if you cant lock them up then something is really wrong. either all your wheel brakes are malfunctioning(like sticking calipers or collapsed hoses) or you have lots of air in the system. i dont know how that would cause the pedal to drop when the ebrake is on. however, its more serious than that.

my 92 s13 base does this as well...I thought it just had somethen to do with the ebrake acting on the piston itself. With the car off if you press down on the brakes and lift the ebrake you can feel it in the pedal...
