My first car ever and i couldn't be happier.

She has plenty work to be done to her and I'm more than up to the challenge of fixing her up and transforming her back into the beauty she once was. I'm just working on making sure she passes smog right now So I'm going to buy all new injector connectors, exhaust headers/gaskets, and a new set of pipes from the cat back. Any advice is welcome.

the intake/exhaust gasket is one piece so it's a bit of a pain the first few times and I'm not sure if anyone makes a cat back for the 2+2 you might have to lengthen a standard kit, or just find a local exhaust shop with a mandrel bender to go full costom

yeah i've been shopping around and i'm just buying two seperate pieces for the cat back. a magnaflow cat and the pacesetter monza exhaust kit. it says the monza is for the 2+2 and i'm pretty sure the cat (as long as i get the direct fit) will work on my car. all together i'm looking at about $350 in parts + shipping and handling and prolly $100 (hopefully) in labor. but i'm sure it'll turn out nice :D

I'd have to suggest against monza, they have been around for years but have basically no following, I don't knwo fo anyone who ever bought their product twice, dynomax I know makes ro at least made a Z31 kit, MSA (zcarparts.com) sells some kit or kits for the S130 but not sure if they cover the 2+2, and certified muffler does a lot of Z31 and maybe S130?

why must you buy a kit? Is it that you want name brands? for (under) $500 you can easily have a good exhaust shop run a larger diameter pipe for you from the downpipe back. New high flow cat off the shelf and your pick of mufflers.

Kits don't make sense unless youre just bolting it in yourself.

no it's not that i want name brands it's just that this is my first car so i'm just asking for advice on where to look. i've never had to do this kind of stuff before and i don't appreciate the condescending remark. thank you though.

the n/a doesn't change anything except that you can go larger, I believe most kits for the S130 are 2.5 which is adequate for the turbo unless you get intot he 400 whp range in which case 3" is in order, even then the dp and cat would be huge chokepoints before you could benefit from the extra exhaust
