After what seemed like an eternity and quite a bit of work and bitching, I was able to swap out my old s13 cracked dash, install my custom LED sidemarkers (all 4), and install my custom LED tail lights over this past weekend. I've decided to do a little write-up on the LED sidemarkers and, if anyone is interested, I'd consider doing one for the LED tail lights as well. I'll take pics of the completed units when the temperature rises above 40 degrees. (It's currently 18 degrees here in Philly, and 3 degrees with the wind chill. So it may be a while.

Lemme know if you want those write ups.

Yes! Please do a write up on the taillights, I've been wanting to jump into a project like this for awhile.

Yeah it was fun driving on ice with crappy tires and no abs last night Turbo and an open differential dont help on the forward motion part either. Felt like I was driving some 70's 1.3 liter econobox of yore.

Definatly put of some pictures, progress is good.

Why don't I post up some pics first and then we'll see if your still interested? The tail lights aren't exactly clearcorners.com quality but I like 'em

As for the sidemarkers, they came out quite nicely and only cost me about $50 (including the cost of 4 replacement OEM sidemarkers). I had to have a spare set to experiment with but those following in my footsteps should be able to use their own so it should only cost about $25. I'll try and get this done in the next week or so.

My conversion was not designed for your kouki lights BUT! I know of something that might interest you. Check out clearcorners.com and look at their single LED upgrade for the kouki lights. Tell me if you like that because I know how to exactly replicate it (with the same exact parts) for about $350. Not cheap, I know, but much cheaper than what they charge. Lemme know...

I bought the dash from a member of another message board after he wrecked his coupe. I paid a bit more than most for it but I did so for the sake of convenience. BTW, a new dash costs upwards of $700!

Yes, it was an entire dash with everything except the HVAC/radio surround.
