Hi to everybody,

A friend of mine from Russia told the problem he (and many others in Russia) has with Versa. When he is driving Tiida it's drawing him to the left. He contacted the Nissan diler, they revised it and made some reparations. Then, it's started to draw him to the right and so on ... Basically, dilers are not aware how to solve this technical problem. If you have a clue what's the problem and have any hints how to solve it, I would be very thankful to you.

Ok, off the bat that I dont even need to think of are:

Collapsed Brake Hose (From Caliper to Banjo Fitting)

Defective Calipers (Cant really see this being the issue because the brake fluid would have to be dirty to leave an internal seat for the piston not to push all the way back on evacuation of brake fluid)

Pushrod adjustment out of wack on the Brake Booster or maybe even a leak on the inside half of the brake booster.

I dont know if the V is equipped with it, but a deffective Brake Proportioning Valve can cause issues like this

Does it have ABS, if so:

The ABS motor could be screwing up I cant think of anything else off my mind, but hope some of these are the problems cause if they aint, looks like some screwed up brake issues!

Or he/she is just running over a bunch of pot holes and/or bumps and keeps throwing the alignment out of whack.

Grasseeass. I only suggested that because I was in a big hurry and ran over a couple of speeds bumps at full speed. $75 later I got my alignment redone. I'm used to driving SUVs and trucks that can take those bumps without a problem.

Here is a discussion about this problem that took place here last year about the same problem

I wonder if your friend received an older steering unit on his car.

I hope this link helps.
