The alarm goes off when ever it feels like it. In the locked garage in the middle of the night, while driving down the road, while parked at work.

I pulled the battery out of the remote this morning, but I would assume( I know) that this is not the cause because of the fact the the alarm goes off while driving down the road. I would think/hope that the alarm is disabled when engine is running, or at least being driven.

When the alarm goes off in this way (not a legitimate trigger), it is very erratic, beep.beep..........beep.........beep.beep.beep......There is no repeating consistency to it. Lights are flashing, horns beeping, flashers flashing, locks locking/unlocking.... While driving down the road!

Has anyone experienced/resolved this problem? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, thats what I will do if I can't resolve the problem. I figured if it was a simple fix, it would make things much easier. The dealer is a 1 1/2 hour drive, which means, my wife and I will drive over with two seperate cars, drop one off and return. A couple days later, drive out with one and pick up the G20.

Quite often, the knowledge on this board exceeds that of the dealership. If I can somehow gain knowledge through the board and get a jump on the problem, at worst maybe I could drive the car to the dealership, let them know what the problem/solution is, get it repaired, and return with the car all in the same trip. Besides, I know the following statement is by all means not always true, just so happens with my experiences the equation (Mechanic+Troubleshoot=Problems) just seems to always hold true. Not necessarily with Infiniti, because I usually have pretty good idea of the problems/solutions, Thanks to this board!

I have an older J30 but don't the dealers give free loaners on cars in warranty

Should not have to take two cars. Just make an appointment and tell them you will need a loaner
