She will be too busy helping to tear down the fat "good ol boy" network to do too much duck hunting with a man who had a minor hunting accident years ago

That is one for sure. Male female might be another. Age might be a third. There might be more ...

So, what is your point besides the two random insults you have provided?

So, we are now down to insults thinly veiled as jokes?

Sad ...

That's a pretty low thing to say. Grow up a little. The Politics forum only for those with triple digit IQ's.

You're the one who raised the Cheney issue. I'm just pointing out that there is little real difference between the two (except lipstick).

By logic, why don't you point out that GW also said he'd like to have JM in the Whitehouse. And you complain when we say McSame?

I did not raise it as an issue. I posted a POSITIVE article about comments from somebody who has the job currently and says that Gov. Palin can do the job.

And, I merely pointed out that there are other, far more substantial differences, that would have been more realistic than picking on "lipstick". Your selection of that as the "real difference" is hardly fair, is it?

Oh man, this opens the door for all sorts of jokes about your prefences in women. Must... bite.... tongue...

Anywa, a VP gives the nod to Palin. This is a good thing. Unless you have an irrational hatred of Republicans

I made a point by using an obvious difference. The effect is that any difference between them is one that is patently obvious. IE, they are cut of similar cloth. There are many people who feel Cheney has not been a good VP nor has he provided reliable input to GW when acting as an advisor. Therefore, more of the same is not a real strong point to bring up when the Republican party is trying so desperately to distance themselves from that administration. Raising Cheney as a good example is a sign of desperation in my view.

In my view, I see it as a positive. Cheney has done a good job... better than Al Gore for sure Cheney knows more about what a VP job entails than I do.

For a candidate trying very hard to distance herself from the failures of the last 8 years, it is a good thing? I agree.

That isn't much of an endorsement. The republicans actually had the president, which is the head of the republican party by the way, stay away from the convention as well as cheney. They did not want to be associated with him in any way by anyone. THAT tells you how this government has been run. You guys getting excited that the president who constantly has had some of lowest approval ratings ever. We all know what a fine judge of character and performance G.W. has been "Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job," Thats G.W. for you.
