My Tiida has only 4 speakers mounted on the doors .. I understand that the 6 speakers version - has additional set of tweeters that mount behind the A pillars covers -

is it possible to get a pair of the "tweeter enabled" of the covers with or with out the tweeters ? how much it suppose to cost?

The local importer here in Israel - don't really wants help me with that issue , claims that it's not a spare part on the TIIDA model that sold here.. (only one version ... )

You can go to http://www.courtesyparts.com and they have a click-able, explodable part view of the Versa. You'd need a set of A-pillars from an SL. Note that the tweeters in a Versa are not a standard size, so be prepared to need to do some creative work in getting aftermarket tweeters to fit correctly.

why not get a set of surface mount tweeters? they would come with bezels that sit about 3/4" (1.5-1.75cm?) out from your mounting point. one advantage is that you might be able to aim them better than the stock positioned set. then paint the mounting bezels to match your A-pillars (if you're trying to get a more "stock" look).

i'm not sure on the impedence for the front set of speakers, you might not be able to just add a set of tweeters to the current wiring. on the 00-06 sentras, the speaker configuration is same as the versa, the front set of speakers in the 4-speaker set is at 4 OHMs each (as well as the rears). but in the 6 or 7 speaker set, the front output splits between the door speakers and the A-pillar tweeters, but at an uneven impedence (i think around 1 OHM for the tweets, 3.5 OHMs for the doors). friends of mine who have changed out the door speakers without changing the tweeters find that the tweeters end up blowing out.

it may end up that you might need to remove the door speakers and get a set of aftermarket component speakers (midrange speakers, tweeters, and crossovers). if you can afford it, it may be a more worthwhile option to keep in mind.

you right and you don't in the same time... mounting surface tweeters will be ugly .. unlike the TIIDA other cars has tweeters mounting points in the doors or on dash - something NISSAN could even left for option.. I already find the right tweeter , it's an OEM tweeter for Renault (Megane/Clio) made by Blaupunkt and it's 4 ohm;. and has a capacitor on it for cutting the mid/low frequencies. and prevent the need for crossover what I don't know is if the front door speakers is a two way type or dual-cone type .. that I would find out when I'll remove the door finisher..
