break clips? it will happen man...plastic isnt unbreakable...

best suggestion is to take a small flat head and run in under the a-pillar to find the clips...

what i normally do is just pull at it and it comes out...ive only lost 1 clip because it was weak to begin with... (i think the rusty clip prevented it from coming out)

the very end of the pillar (dash side) slides out so just pull it out

start at the bpillar and pull straight out, once that clip pops out, move down the pillar towards the front and repeat all the way to the front

Ok, thanks guys, I got the pillar off no problem. Where did you guys tap in to get power for your gauge light. I cant seem to find the fuse that controls the instrument lights.

There is a harness connector where the radio is that has a ground and power source. I think it was used for the stock radio. I did not buy my car with a stock radio so I cannot be sure but I know it is a switched source.

You could use a sawzall but your roof will be all floppy.
