Hey guys, i'm looking for Carbon Fiber A Pillar Covers for an S13.

I'm going with a Carbon fiber two tone sort of look with carbon fiber hood, roof cover, hatch, tail light cover (for in between the 180 tails), A & B Pillar covers, and headlight covers..... All with a Maroon color from the windows down.

I've found everything EXCEPT those A pillar covers. So if someone could kindly point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated!

Yea, i was thinking about that but i wanted to see if anybody made them first. And i wouldn't use a "carbon fiber like material" i would rather suck it up and get real carbon... idk, i'm just weird like that lol

I can't think of who right now, but I THINK somebody made or makes them.

Oddly enough, I want to say Origin, but I think that's wrong....

I have never seen any.

Not to say they don't exist, just that they'd be pretty rare.

I'd wrap them in CF laminate, like what Alsa Corp. makes.

They are or were made in either FRP or CF.

Those are vent shades.

Not a-pillar covers.

Is that your new project car, B?

LAHITMAN - Are you SURE that's not what he wants?

I kind of think it is.

BUT, I could be wrong.

Maybe he wants the actual A pillar covers INSIDE the car? The ones that are plastic....

I guessss maybe

No, i want the EXTERIOR, A- Pillar covers... AZHitman knows what i'm talking about.

Think about it like this, you know the parts on an s13 that are black? I want to replace/ cover them with CF. That way i have a CF two tone effect...

Brian, i appreciate your help, but AZ's right, those are vent shades... though i'm glad you posted that.. i might get those too to continue the effect

And Kalypso.. why shouldn't i buy it?? This isn't the top of my to do list.. i'm more worried about getting the car drift ready before i get into this s***. But i like to have everything planned out in advance.

Oh I see.

Well then, NOBODY makes what you're looking for. You're going to have to custom make it.

Well it depends on what you mean... if your asking why i was testing the waters, it's because, as stated before, i like to plan things in advance. Know what i want to buy, where i can get it, and how much it costs.

If your asking why i want to do this, its because... i just do. I think it will look good, in fact i think it will look REALLY good. And i don't really need a reason honestly

Naw, roof will be carbon fiber as well.. i think i mentioned that in the OP.. but maybe not lol

Basically, from the windows up, will be carbon fiber. As will the hood, hatch, headlight covers, and tail light center panel

the rest will be a deep red/ maroon

Definitely go with a vinyl laminate, then.

Alsa Corp - check there.

usually that vinyl carbon stuff is so stupid.

HOWEVER, we had a customer do up his Murcielago in full carbon vinyl. It was awesome AND textured like real CF.

Didn't notice a thread about carbon right under my nose.

Just about every carbon substitute substitute fades. If you go carbon just for the look I would just do one layer of 5.7oz REAL carbon over the black plastic. The only problem is the UV making clear epoxy yellow. UV resistant clear coat is a definite must.

Any pics of the a pillar alone and the back of it?

Also, that car looks like it is laminated with silver hexial texalium, commonly referred to as silver carbon.
