I don't think I've ever posted a pic of my Q, but I just finished installing my CC springs (finally, lol) and 350 Z 17's. I found the wheels and tires locally. They're brand new (had 9 mi on them I think) and I picked up the package for $600, just couldn't pass that up! I'm VERY happy with the ride and handling! Thanks again Wes for the hookup on these springs!

I just put 17" powder coated black 350Z wheels on my car for the new owner. I will try to get a pic and post as well. It gives the car an interesting look black on black.

Nice balanced look...I'm begining to think my 350Z 6 spoke 18's, are just a tad too big, as in too much rim showin, and not enough tire...

Gorgeous. That's my favorite 17 inch wheel for the G50. I'll be getting a set when my current tires wear out (can't find a decent-rated 15" tire anymore). Thanks for the pic. Beautiful!

I prefer the 17s over the 18s, too

Indeed it looks absolutely AMAZING!! Is it me, or does modern Nissan wheels look better on the G50 and Y33 than they do on the vehicle models they were designed for? The car has a sporty/graceful look to it. Good Work!

Aaron,

What size tires (front and rear) are you running? Any [serious] problems with bump steer?

The factory Z Potenzas, 225/50/17 in front, 235/50/17 in the back. Bump steer is negligible.

Hey man,

The car looks good with this wheel/tire combo. I like the 235/50 that you have in the rear. It looks pretty beefy and the fender gap is perfect. I've got 245/45 all around. If I went to 235/50 for the rear?......would that be stupid? To have thinner tires in the rear when 99.9% it's the other way around.I don't know

Check out my 72 MG. Until now, I'd NEVER known anyone who owned both a Q and an MG. Pretty cool.

Man that looks GOLDEN..... (its been a while since i busted that out).. At any rate, it looks great, the thing i like is that it does not look that stupid lowered... It almost looks like it could be like that stock.....

How was the ride compared to stock?

Man that MG kinda reminds me of a beast my Dad built back in the 60's ..Had a Sunbeam Tiger and put in a small Block Chevy drivetrain .. Whatta monster ..He sold it the same day my oldest brother got his license . lol

It would break the wheels loose when you goosed it going 110 ..

Quite a deathtrap !!!Loved the woodgrain dash ..

Sorry .. got a bit nostalgic there ..

Looks amazing - should've come out of the factory like that!

I too have an MGB. 1966 version with a few tweaks. I'll post pix when I get the minilites mounted. Just bought a tan interior panel set for it.

Have a Buick 215 sitting in the garage for my rainy day project. I may find a later year B to put it in.

I would think that you'd beef up the suspension/chassis before putting that kind of horsepower into a little thing like that.

Thanks louigz. It;s a whole lotta fun especially here in sunny SoCal.

No problem, I kinda abandoned it .

Not a considerable difference, but I have been running blues for awhile now so I don't really remember how "stock" was.

That's pretty cool! I finally got mine running since the swap last weekend, here's a pic of the new setup.

Wow I had not seen this til today. The MG gods are at your door step waiting to take you away. Damn man!!! That looks interesting. I wonder what kind of horsepower gain you got with the swap. Check this out and see if you can get adventurous with the suspension. That would be cool.http://www.hoyle-engineering.co.uk/index.html
