My cars runs so rich now with my Walbro pump it burns my eyes. I need to know which nismo FPR is the one that works. A or B type?

Next question: How do these connect to the rail in order for the fuel to go in. Obviously it bolts on via the flange, but, you have to loop a hose around from one leg of the FPR to the fuel rail?

This type has the flange with bolt holes but does not feed the rail via that flange. Do you have to by this in order for this to work properly? And just run a longer fuel line like mentioned above.

I've seen both run. The B Type is nice becuase you can mount it where you want it, but you have to buy the extra fuel rail adapter. I run an A Type with a remote mount fuel pressure gauge.

still waiting on parts actually, should be here Thursday. I had to replace the orings on my #4 injector and i did that with the intake fully installed. Its cramped but i believe it can be done. Either i do it or i bribe local children with candy to do what i tell them to do...

I just did this a few weeks ago working with the manifold on. Its easiest to remove the the fuel rail then install the fpr. It does take some patience to clear the rail around the AAC valve on removal and install, but can be done. Completed within two hours, plus I installed an in cabin fuel pressure gauge. Here are some pics.

ah good idea, fuel rail off seems alot easier. i have an inline fuel pressure gauge between fuel filter and the hardpipes on manifold, I will probably remove it when the FPR is in and adjusted, don't think the pressure will change unless the FPR is bad and I don't like having another piece in the fuel system that I don't need all the time.

that's amazing. I have no idea how you did it all in under 2 hrs.

I just installed mine today, and it took me 6hrs(and lots of swearing near the end), and I had to take off the iacv stuff and I didn't get my gauge in.

It wasn't my first time taking it off, I have removed the injectors to be cleaned in the past. I just bought gtr 444 that I will be putting on soon. So i've had plenty of practice.

I now believe it can be done in under 2hrs. I just switched out the injectors for some that were in better shape and it took an hour. Definitely WAY easier the 2nd time around, and I'm guessing it gets easier the more you do it heh.

Wow...I did it in 15 minutes. I got a 1/4" drive ratchet with a 1/4" socket. I then grabbed a philips head bit and viola! Got the bolts off with the rail still on.

i know this is a old thread but how the hell you have been able to remove and REPUT the 2 little screw in 15min ?

I Mean those clamp are not so reachable.....

ps: i'm in the work right now. i've got the 2 fpr screw removed but i can see how the hell i can remove the old oem clamp in place.

Just cut the hose, pull off the FPR then re-install the new one with a new longer hose. You have to put a longer hose on anyways...

I cutted the hose and pull off the fpr. I'm not able to put the new one without kink the rubber tube when i try to loop it around.

Do i'm doing something wrong ? really want to do it right.

To me it sounds like your not using a long enough fuel line. I bet my fuel line is 2'- 2 1/2' long. It does 1 huge loop above the transmission and back to the fuel filter. Definatly do not leave it kinked.

Thank You ! i just got it right this afternoon. Just had cut the nipple on the fpr up to the second flair and rerouted the hose.
