Severnvalley Motorsport shows off their Nissan Qashqai-R
Britain's Severnvalley Motorsport is wrapping their
Nissan Qashqai-R project.
Drawing inspiration from the Juke-R, the Qashqai-R is Frankenstein-like creation that is part Qashqai and part GT-R. However, unlike the 2012 GT-R donor car, the Qashqai-R will have an upgraded twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine that produces 1,000 bhp (745 kW).
To keep things under control, the model will be equipped with a number of upgraded components including a KW coil over suspension, Eibach anti-roll bars and a high-performance braking system.
The car is a hybrid of a Qashqai+2 360 and an R35 GT-R, using the complete running gear and floor pan from the R35 has enabled us to take the Qashqai from it’s standard engine and running gear to the identical set-up that the R35 uses (and more, much more) !
