when my transmission broke a had a transmission shipped from new york block exchange and the part number wa not the same as mine i was wondering if someone knows all the part numbers for q45 90 to 96 and which will fit in a 92 q45.

If you post up the numbers, I'm sure someone will try to look it up for you.

IIRC, they should all be interchangeale, except "maybe" the 96, maybe.

the part number that ny block exchange gave me was tjns019 but i that this might be their part number and i cant seem to find this number anywhere

Yeah, that does not look like a Nis/Inf part number.

Let me search around some and see if I can find anything.

!994-1996 are the same transmission, but 1996 may have an OBD II connector for the harness.

These links should be helpful... You may want to go with a transmission from an earlier model to take advantage of the better gearing. There should be a metal tag on the rear passenger side of the transmission. It will have 51x65 on it. The ones tagged 51x79 will work but make your car slower off the line. The 93' models may be either of the two below. No way to tell the true year of the transmission once separated from the car/engine.

i all ready have the transmission and i feel the difference the car feel slower than before the gears feel short. it shifts from 2 and then 1 really quick and then to 3 really hard this is not what i wonted when i spent $ 1600 but i have a warranty and this is most likely going back to the shop so thay can rape me for more money.
