Hello everyone,

I picked up what is titled as a 62 Datsun pickup. I was thinking it was a 320 as they are more common but I now believe it is a 223.

It has the older dash and grill. can anyone tell me more about them?
i have been to thew wiki models page, it was informative but short on exact information on how to identify this truck.
The biggest issue is that someone dropped in an L16 and I think destroyed the vin tag.
6-lug tires and wheels. Has ft. disc brakes already done.
Mostly straight, taking it for paint evaluation tomorrow.

Needs rear window rubber. and an interior.

I live near the Monterey Bay California.

I am also looking for rubber for this 223. I think I found something to use for the doors.
The windshield seems OK although it is scratched so I would like to fix it.
I also need the window trim or some source that I can modify.
The thin rubber used for the wing windows. I got some rubber for the 320 wing windows, hope it works or is modifiable.
I suppose the rear window rubber is out of the question? need a replacement for that too.
Any help I can get locating these things is greatly appreciated.

Anyone know the stock shocks these things need. I have one that looks stock and is stuck solid, another Monroe that's way too long.
I can not find any info anywhere, it's like these trucks never existed
