A New Noise a different problem ...

Okay I've searched everything word/thing i could think of before posting this ... its a noise but I can't find anything relevant to what mine is ... but anyways ... so i have a like "fog-horn" (as my srt-4 brother explained it) noise coming from my MAFS/intake tip ... i thought it was just my old intake box/tube but I have new CAI and its still making it ... its like REALLY! loud and much louder than the exhaust or anything else on my car? ... I'm going to get a video clip for you guys tomorrow to help out but does anybody have experience or any guess what it might be? ... my bro is all into the neon thing and he said he's heard of it on neons before? ... thanks in advance.

its constant ... its kinda like a purr at idle ... and then when you give it some gas its like a BEAST and gets REALLY loud ...

Everything's clamped and bolted down properly- nothing loose and rattling?

Sorry was just thinking about a car with fog horn exhaust would sound like. OMG I can't stop laughing now.

Anyways it sounds like the element inside the MAF may have come loose and is vibrating with the air speed...Which makes it louder as your rpm increases because more air is speeding down the intake and past the MAF.
