First off, this place is HUGE! I usually spend my days on 3ZC but thought I'd wonder over here for a bit. So lets get down to the pix and info.

Car info: Black 1990 300ZX NA 2+2, A/T from a 240SX, Stillen "POP" charger, Z1 1 peice driveshaft, Z1 chrome gauge rings, powder-coated back plenum, water pipes and throttle bodies, relocated PTU, relocated det sensor, EGR delete, AIV delete, 18x8 F and 18X9 R +32 offset all around. FUTURE PLANS: Paint, suspension, J-spec '99 tails and fascia, interior from tan to black

Pix: It sat up for 2 years with a blown motor due to T-belt breakage.

How she sits now:

Needs paint BADLY!

I've fought this car for the last 2 years. I finally got it running but still have 1 issue that nobody can figure out but hopefully in time it'll be at 100%.

Thanks for looking!

Holy thread bump Batman!! Been a while since I was on this forum so i'll RE-introduce myself. A LOT has happened since i first posted this intro thread. I am currently on engine #4 with my Z, 4 engines in 6 years! All NA motors unfortunately. I basically have the WORST luck with this car, lol. My current motor was rebuilt from the bottom up. I'm still having a few issues but hope to have them lined out soon.

Mods:
- Stillen cone filter (they call it a "POP" charger, lol)
- Stillen FUCA's
- Megan Racing springs
- PowerTrix carbon fiber ducts (no more s*** fog lights)
- Z1 chrome gauge rings
- Z1 1 pce driveshaft
- JDM clear corner signals
- powder coated plenum and water necks
- custom throttle cable cover
- PTU relocated
- AIV deleted
- PRVR deleted
- EGR deleted

Now the newer pics:

LOL. Luckily I ended up with a limo cuz now we have a 5 yr old who I taxi to school, dance, and soccer.

Saw another Z32 owner I've never seen before this morning across from me at a red light. His light turned green and as he passed by, he leaned over to wave so hard that he almost stuck is hand out the passenger window, lol. For some reason that wave sparked a fire in me to give the Z AKA "Gold Digger" some TLC. I KNOW the rattle can jobs aren't good but for a quick fix, do the job.

Before:

From the U-Haul trailor, car was too low. :/

A couple more of the wheels. I found some "Greased Lightning" degreaser and it worked damn good!

They all looked like this after the scrubbing. Didn't realize they were THAT bad!

Recent shenanigans...

Relocated the power steering reservoir to under the nose panel and also, FINALLY installed the splash shields.

Thanks. I can feel a LITTLE bit of hesitation from time to time but only if I'm sitting still and turning the wheel. In DD use, it feels fine.

Hows a bout nudge. A couple things have changed since this motor, #4. This motor only lasted for 4,500 miles. I had a worn out air filter and it was basically sucking up too much dirt and it killed the rings. We found sand/grit all thru the motor. We also found a cracked PS manifold. Really sucked since I had rebuilt it from the block, up. Motor #5 is in and the Z is running like a champ! It's so strong and issue free! I actually have love for the car back now. All the BOLD type is new stuff done since the last post. New pics too. :gapteeth:

Also, the little issues I was having with the PS pump are no longer there. I guess it just needed time to get the fluid right and any air it had, out. Smooth as silk now.
