yeah im not sure what happend, but what a sad ordeal....just hope everybody can put this in the back of their head next time they are out for a drive.R.I.P Damien

That really sucks. My condolences to his family and friends over at twinturbo.net. This seems to be happening more and more often...be safe out there guys.

His seatbelt was not attached and he has been ejected over one hundred feet away from his car

Alls I have to say is that seat belts save lives.

Man, sorry to hear about that. I see this alot around here with highschool kids. Most of the time this happens on some 2 lane residential road. Anything can happen on roads like that, and there is nowhere to go. I see this too often and I can't help but think to myself "why were they going so fast on this road??" I'll be the first to admit, I have driven 150+ on the road, but, I make sure that the conditions are as safe as possible. Still a risk, but, even at a track there are risks. It's something that I choose to do. My condolences to the friends and family of Damien. I hope that we can learn from this and possibly save a life. WEAR YOUR SEATBELT!!

From the look of that crash not even the seat belt would have helped. Did he have a roll cage, it looks like the car may have rolled but the roof is not crunched too badly
